Best Electric Guitar Strings
A musical instrument is like a human; every single parts, be it small or big played a significant role in producing a heart soothing sound. When it comes to guitar, the type of strings that was used can go as far as determining the sound produced other than skilled itself. But it was this little thing that will never cross most new guitarists' mind; till they break their first string.
There are a large range of strings available, such as nickel, gauge, roundwound and light but looking for the best electric guitar string would be confusing and daunting especially for beginners. But, fear not. For we have a few tips that might come in handy for you when it comes to choosing string.
When you are buying string for your electric guitar, get a nickel strings and round wound strings. Nickel strings are the basic and cheapest strings you can get. It's silvered in colour and don't get a gold coloured Phosphor Bronze strings as those strings are meant for acoustic guitars, not electric guitars.
If you are playing rhythm guitar most of the time, then opt for a "10 gauge". The thinnest string (the high E) is 10 thousandths of an inch thick - it's the best for beginner generally. And finally, change all of the strings at once instead of changing the broken one. Trust us, you'll be amazed at how your guitar sounds brighter when you have a compatible set.

A Unexpected Gain from Bullying
Back in high school, bullying was a part of everyday life. I'm not proud of it now, but back then, I used to be one of the bullies. Bullying is like an art. It's not easy to be scary enough to make the nerds fear you and yet appear to be good in front of the teachers'. The most memorable incident in my high school bullying career was when I ruined a music geek's best acoustic guitar.
The kid was the star of the music club, but as geeks go, he was very reserved and timid. One day, during a round of routine lunch money collecting, he surprisingly refused to give up his lunch money and accidentally spilled his drink on my shirt. So my gang and I decided a little punishing was in order. The next day was our annual school gala dinner and the geek was going to perform.
Before he got on stage, I snipped all his guitar strings and waited for him to embarrass himself on stage. I won't say what happened next. But it's safe to say that little incident was the best thing that ever happened to me; because believe it or not, since that incident we have now been diehard best friends for years.
